The Town of Windsor operates Caring Connection as a non-profit Adult Day Health Center. It serves to improve the quality of life for frail and disabled adults by providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment. The Center is certified by the Connecticut Association of Adult Day Centers.
Professionally trained staff include a full time Coordinator, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Theraputic Art, Music and Recreation Director, Program Assistants, Certified Nurse Assistants, and drivers.
Participants typically suffer from one or more of the following: depression, loneliness, social isolation, chronically ill, needs daytime supervision, Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, vision impairment, incontinence.
