Project Independence is a nationally recognized adult day center which provides closely supervised daytime home away from home for seniors whose independence has been limited by chronic illness, disability or substantially advanced age. It is located within the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elderly Services.
Participating seniors have varying levels of physical, cognitive, and social needs. A friendly staff of activity leaders, registered nurses, social workers, cooks, van drivers, aids and occupational therapists help participants get the most out of each day.
