The Association is the only national organization that focuses its efforts exclusively on stroke. It develops community outreach programs, advocates for improved stroke patient care, and educates the general public, family caregivers, and healthcare professionals. A wealth of information relating to strokes, how they occure, risk factors, prevention, etc. can be found on their site.
